One Last Time....At Least For a While

We were able to spend some time with my sister-in-law and nieces and have dinner together tonight. It was bittersweet. Sweet of course, because it is always wonderful to see them and share some time together. Bitter, because with us moving away, we don't know exactly when the next time will be to spend some time together again.

The unknown is always hard. That's why trusting Him in all things is so difficult. I seem to make the mistake of not trusting Him practically on a daily basis. But in the words of Anne Shirley, "Tomorrow is always fresh with no mistakes in it." :) Each day I can choose to trust Him, or myself. Let's face it, many times, I don't even trust myself to get up when the alarm goes off. So trusting Him makes much more sense. It's the doing it that is often times hard. I said this before, but looking back over the past few months and how ALL the details have fallen into place, He reminds me. He is not a God of coincidences. In fact, I am often reminding myself, "It's no coincidence that _____."

ALL that to say, we had a wonderful time tonight. Here are some fun highlights:

Can you believe they give 5 year olds homework??!?!?

Umm .. weird. It says "Your comment will be visible after approval" but I didn't leave a comment yet. Unless I accidentally wrote a comment to someone else on your blog .. in which case, I apologize.

This was a great post. I'll be praying for you as you make all your new changes and adjustments. You are right "It is not a coincidence that _____".

I'm doing a Beth Moore bible study of Esther right now and last night we focused on the Esther 4:14 "And who knows but that you have been place in this position for such a time as this?" She focused on the part of the sentence that says WHO KNOWS. How that "who knows" often gives us such insecuirty and fear of the unknown but we can have peace and rest in the fact that when we think "who knows", God knows.
